Parents of Toddlers needed for Online Diabetes Support Team
JDRF's national Online Diabetes Support Team is a group of volunteers who share their personal experiences with others.
Currently, JDRF has an urgent need for parents who are now caring for – or who very recently cared for – toddlers with diabetes. Since methods and technologies for caring for children with type 1 are constantly changing and evolving, it's very important to have ODST volunteers with up-to-date knowledge of what it takes to care for toddlers with diabetes.
Of course, ODST volunteers don't have to be parents – grandparents, siblings, uncles, aunts, and other caregivers who want to share their experiences are also welcome!
If you or someone you know is interested in joining the national ODST, please e-mail Ardy Johnson at

About Our Volunteers
Behind everything we do you will find committed volunteers. Every year, tens of thousands of volunteer hours go into planning and organizing events, supporting our staff, working directly with families affected by diabetes, promoting Chapter activities, and raising money for diabetes-related research.
Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and offer a range of talents and vocations. Health care workers, professionals, teachers, students, stay-at-home moms and more all make up part of a growing group that power the work and success of the Piedmont Triad Chapter. Please join us. Contact
