If diabetes affects your life, you’ve come to the right place. In Piedmont North Carolina the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is a force for finding a cure and a forum for connecting individuals and families with a common concern. We’re an active, energetic chapter of the national JDRF. Through the contributions of a small professional staff and hundreds of committed volunteers, we organize events that educate the community about the disease, and raise funds that will speed the day when there will be a cure for diabetes.  Though no one chooses to have diabetes, we can support one another, share our experiences, and let our lives serve as an inspiration to people who may be newly diagnosed and discouraged. The faces you’ll see here are the smiling, hopeful, determined faces of people who are united in being dedicated to finding a cure.
